In a glasshouse in Lincolnshire, 24-meter Ferris wheels rotate vertical rigs of strawberry plants past LED arrays. Sensors monitor CO2, humidity, temperature, and light wavelength in real time. Robots handle irrigation and harvesting. An anaerobic digester on site powers the whole operation.

Total spend across Dyson's farming division: over £200 million.

The headline is the strawberries. The story is everything underneath.

Dyson didn't acquire an ag-tech startup. They built it themselves, on their own land, with their own engineers. The same company that obsesses over motor RPM and cyclone airflow is now optimizing the photoperiod of a fruiting plant.

That's the move worth watching.
