The pilot is over.
Whether it works has been answered. What is left is a capital question.
For two years every company ran an AI pilot. Most of them proved the same thing: the model works, and the organisation around it was never built to use it.
That phase ended. Agents now hold context across a whole task, use the systems a company already runs, and finish the work without waiting for a prompt. Whether the technology is real has been settled. The question in the room now is where intelligence sits in the company, what it costs to run, and what it earns back.
That is the gap Michael works in. He has spent his career at the point where an exponential technology stops being a slide and becomes a line item, from Deloitte's Novel and Exponential Technologies group to the digital twins of two EV factories. Today he does it with agents.
